As a child I could always be found with a book and my one passion in life was to draw. This led to me drawing what I imagined the setting could be like in different books. History as well, especially Ancient Egyptian, Medieval and of course dinosaurs. This inspired me to design my own swords, castles, dinosaurs, monsters and fire breathing dragons. Along side fantasy, science fiction was also a muse of mine, Dr Who, Star Trek and Star Wars were the insight of many pieces of artwork.
While I covered many aspects of art in my education, set design was the one area that suited my passion. I can draw storyboards, create concept art and 3D model. This course has helped me to further excel and develop these skills. However, through working on student films I’ve discovered that I loved working on set and building props up.
I am hardworking and enjoy working in a team. I am looking forward to what the future will bring.
