Film has always been really important to me, and I’ve always known that I wanted to work in the industry. Discovering directors like Sofia Coppola and Greg Araki when I was younger left a lasting impression on me, I became obsessed with the dreamy, stylised worlds they created through their use of set design. Their work made me realise how powerful visual storytelling can be.
During my time at university, I loved learning more about the art department. I especially enjoyed learning to draft and model making. I found collaborating with film students on short films to be a rewarding process. I’m eager to continue learning, growing creatively, and developing my practical skills within an art department.
