I began with a keen interest in architecture, although I soon realised set design would allow me to bend and explore design principles to create something exactly how I picture it.
This course has taught me that the thing I enjoy most about working behind the scenes in an Art Department is the process of turning an idea, whether it be my own, or someone else's, into a tangible design. A design that can be measured, modelled, and simplified into construction drawings. Working out each detail like solving a puzzle.
As though I am creating instructions to help these 3D spaces be built and come to life.
I want to be involved in the work/process that sees a concept come to final fruition on screen.
I am excited that my passion can be my career, working and continuing to learn in a professional Art Department.
