My love of the art department began as a childhood obsession with ‘Harry Potter’. Reading about these incredible fantasy places and desperately trying to imagine how they would look. I remember being so in awe the first time ‘Hogwarts’ appeared on screen and this fantastical place that I had only read about was brought to life. This sparked my fascination with the art department and my determination to work in one. Years down the line I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to do work experience in Dracula, Doctor Who and Pobol y cwm’s art departments. The possibility of one day be able to build these worlds myself, still excites me as much now as it did then.
