I have been fascinated by the set design industry since I was a child, when my Dad would have to put on the Doctor Who behind the scenes after every episode so we wouldn’t be too scared to go to bed. Watching how things were made and designed, and how a story came together would amaze me, and I decided then and there that I wanted to be a part of that incredible industry.
Studying at USW has given me even more appreciation for the design process, allowed me to refine essential skills such as model making and technical drawing, and given me confidence I never knew was there. I look forward to finally stepping into this world after years of dreaming about it, and I am excited to see where it takes me.
