One of my earliest memories I can remember was being taught how to colour when I was little and from then on art and design has been a huge part of my life. I have always loved TV and Film and the ability it has to create a whole new world. When I discovered the TV and Film Set Design course I knew that’s what I wanted to pursue as it allowed me to create new ideas and encompass everything I love being able to do. I’ve developed skills such as technical drawing, model making and I have become proficient on digital programmes such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop. Lockdowns have prevented work experience opportunities for me however, they have fuelled my passion for becoming a Production Designer and have made this Northern girl even more determined to bring my own new worlds to life. I am imaginative, ambitious and always ready for a challenge, also funny I can always be relied on to make people laugh and I make a cracking cup of tea and will always make sure to have biscuits. The Art Department brings ideas to life and I love how every single person has a role to play, I cannot wait to be a part of it.
