My path towards set design started at age eleven after I spent months designing and building a cardboard castle that HAD to have a working drawbridge and catapults, alongside my toys in paper armour I’d made. To this day I still love obsessing over the tiny details of sets and trying to make something fantastical with my projects, just without the paper mache! I had a great experience during my time at the BBC’s Doctor Who, when I was given the opportunity to help the Standby Art Director during filming and witnessed the story being brought to life. Whatever task I’m given, I find being involved in any aspect of the art department’s process beyond exciting!
