Coming from a background in graphic design, the influence this has had on me can be seen throughout my architectural inspiration; the patterns and repeating structures found throughout history are what I am drawn to most. I’m really interested in the creative process as a whole, being able to go from a concept to a finalised design, specifically being able to visually realise these worlds in a 3D space, like Sketchup, and recreate the structures I have seen. Similarly, I thoroughly enjoy draughting and drawing up these 3D spaces, I can then focus on the small details and create the character of the space. My time on the Tv and Film Set Design course has given me the creative freedom to expand my skill set and has made me excited to enter the industry and be able to learn further from professionals.
