Hey, my name is Katya, I have been privileged enough to grow up with a rich blend of Portuguese and Welsh heritage, I have always been surrounded by vibrant cultures and artistic traditions that have deeply influenced my passion for film and set design.
Spending countless hours watching films and immersed in art, whether through the colourful festivals of Portugal, architecture and art galleries of various European countries or the evocative landscapes of Wales, this has helped cultivated my appreciation for visual storytelling and the emotional power of cinema.
I am captivated by the way films have evoked my emotions and transported me to different worlds, enabling me to dream bigger than before. My love for set design is a testament to my heritage and a lifelong love of cinema and the art of storytelling in which I can not wait to be apart of.
