As an avid movie watcher, I was often amazed at the production design that would unfold before my eyes and I must admit before studying this course I never knew how much work goes into making a set for film and TV. This gives me a lot of respect for those involved, which inspires me to be involved in the art department, to learn more and to get stuck in with everything.
During my 3 years studying TV and Film Set design I have developed a passion for producing technical drawings with an emphasis towards detailing and line weights. I’m hoping to get more insight relating to how they are professionally produced and acquire the same knowledge and skills to hopefully be on the same level as those whom I admire someday.
I’m a hardworking, optimistic and hands on individual and with the industry picking up, I am hopeful that I will be able to get more experience and insight on the art department for film and TV.
